I just wanted to take some time to say thanks for being the only online site to offer wiring solutions for GM Delco decks. Without your website I would have definatly given up. Thank you all for the replies. especially to Sesar Herrera, and Alvin. from corvetteradios.com. They both told me how to get the backup codes and how to enter them in. but I could not get the authorization code to finish up the job.Seach got me the code it was 1505.but when this happened, I just came back from the dealer. To bad customer could not give me the time. I got about 20 e-mails in bout 12 hours I really appreciate the help. I did what 9 out of ten told me to do, went to my local GM. and paid them what they wanted $37.50. And they reset the radio and is all working now. Thanks to all. You are the best.

Hi Al; Well.. I got that baby installed... it looks like it was a OEM factory
installed unit!  Awesome.  And it sounds great as I converted the speaker
lines into low level line converters  to run through my two amplifiers...
with all my install experience... makes me want to do Corvette conversions!

Hi Al, Thanks for getting the new box to me so quick, I wasn't able to install it until this past weekend. Putting new terminals on each wire and reinstalling them into the plastic connectors was a pain. When I got it hooked up, WOW!! Better performance than the original, must be a better box. I now notice one of my rear speakers crackles a little at the higher volume, do you guys rework these speakers? If so I'll send it to you when it gets bad enough.

Al, THANK YOU!!  I found the parts at Radio Shack. I did not find a polarized 1uf. the non-polarized seems to work. Total cost under $5.00. Two more amps To go. I have to track down some speakers. I was pleasantly surprised to see you are in Portland area. I am in Happy Valley. Other audio problem is I can not insert a tape in the cassette mechanism. I purchased the car about 6 Weeks ago and am going through the negative discoveries stage. I hope to Talk with you soon about the cassette problem.

Hi Al: I finally got my new radio in. Apparently, my old radio studs had been modified at some time in the past. I bought the car used so don't know the history. The rear stud was still factory, so I had a model for what I needed. I was able to find the studs locally. I popped those on the new radio and all was well. I cut the modified mounts from my old radio without damaging it -- I threw them away. The new radio is working and sounds great. Thanks for all of your help. Regards,

AL: One thing I found out that may help you out, or someone else you are kind enough to lend a hand to, be from a parts counter guy I talked to and it worked! Install the radio and drive for approximately 90 Minutes. You can not just turn on the accessory switch, the ignition must be on for that 90 minutes, otherwise the codes will not appear when you push presets 2 & 3. The rest of the install went without a hitch; thanks to you and all the info you shared.

AL, I can't believe you sell pieces of CRAP like this for $285 and expect the public to put up this non-sense. It looks like hell, took me over 6 hours to install, then it wouldn't work, the CD player kept kicking out the CD, the radio doesn't work and to top it off it doesn't fit...I don't get it... and if you believe that, then I've got some swamp land in Florida I want to sell ya. Just kidding AL, the deck is great, it took about 5 minutes to install, looks like it was factory install and everything works as advertised. I am completely tickled pink. If I get a years warranty out of it and it holds up that long, then I consider it a deal. I am really excited and very pleased with it. Its great. But I had you going didn't I? Thanks a bunch AL, and I'll send everyone your way. It's incredible. Again I think it's great. I'm already looking for one for my New Yorker. Thanks Al. Al, Thank you for information that you certainly didn't have to go of your way to give me. With your help I fired the radio up. It's a bit weird how the connector to the harness is set up. My 1994 connector is in two pieces and only one of the two fits in the 1995 radio. I went to a junkyard and the 1995 vehicles pick up their radio illumination from the same row of pins as all the other power. My 1994 pick it up from the parallel row of pins. Why they put the seventh pin in that parallel row when they only use a ground and a dash power source and leave 5 pins unused is beyond me. From my junkyard experience I'm fairly confident rerouting the dash power to the third pin {eliminating speakers and counting from groundside} will get me illumination. Again thank you very much. Gil

Thanks AL My radio arrived Saturday, around noon, and by 1:00, I was listening to a new CD I'd never had a chance to listen to before. Everything seems so to be working perfectly. Thank you. Note: You apparently had to add a side bracket to mount it in some holder while it was being worked on, as it came back with an extra one. Any thoughts on what one does with the old radio?  It works - kind of.  The 'seek' button broke and the radio does some funky things until it warms up and then works OK.  I was tired of babying it so bought the new one.  Do I throw this old radio away or does it have any residual value to someone like

Thank you to all who replied most said take to dealer or get code off of back of radio, one reply said to remove fuse #10 and try that to no avail. But thanks to our friend at corvetteradios.com he gave me the procedure to get the code out of the radio without having to remove it from the vechicle, then my ex friend decided to take it to the dealer. And they reset it for him after all that. Thanks to all at iATN where would we be without you.

Thank you sooooo much for the code for unlocking my radio, I had changed the alternator and left the battery disconnected too long and the radio had locked out. I took it to the dealer at Alaska sales and Service and they were unable to unlock it and wanted to sell me a new radio for $245.00.I followed your instructions and with your quick response ,my radio and sterio system is working perfectly.
